Hassan Sharif, rétrospective

Il a marqué d’une empreinte pérenne la scène artistique, notamment celle des Emirats arabes unis. Né en Iran (1951), Hassan Sharif a vécu et travaillé à Dubaï jusqu’à sa disparition, en septembre dernier. Pionnier de l’art conceptuel au Moyen-Orient, il fut également précurseur en matière de regard porté sur l’écologie. Avant une monstration à la Biennale de Venise (13 mai-26 novembre), puis à la Sharjah Art Foundation, La Patinoire Royale, à Bruxelles, organise la première grande rétrospective de l’artiste en Europe, sous le commissariat d’Hervé Mikaeloff.
